REM Churches helped host a Summer Sports Camp at Dream Center Short Creek during the summer of 2026. We had multiple volunteers commit to planning and hosting this fun reach event for the Hildale, UT community.

In total, there were roughly 42 volunteers who came to help with the Sports Camp. Participants included around 20 girls for volleyball and 30 boys for football.

We partnered with REM Pastor Luke Merideth and South Mountain Community Church – South Jordan Campus for this youth event.

While there, REM leaders and volunteers also revamped an indoor garage space for the Youth. It took nearly three and a half days to convert the garage into a usable youth center. REM Construction Coordinator Ronnie Barks led the construction and said the project was “a total win all the way around!”
